The Friends of Mounds membership works to inform the community of the park's unique natural and cultural heritage and promotes programming, special events, and unique volunteer opportunities.

Creating programs, assisting with special events, maintaining the park's gardens, working with the Park Naturalists, all of this and more are ways the Friends of Mounds State Park help on a daily basis.
